BandTel's Generations™ Program

Concept:  BandTel’s Generations Program offers managed VoIP telecommunication services for small and medium size enterprise users. Two basic “generations” solutions are offered. The first allows customers to gently move into new VoIP/SIP technology by preserving their current infrastructure. The second “next generation” solution has the customer move into a fully functional IP-PBX telephone platform.

What sets this service apart from other offerings is “support of the VoIP CPE platform is handled by the service provider” (BandTel) for the end user. The gateway or PBX/ACD device is configured by, cared for, and monitored by BandTel. Purchase of the CPE equipment is either bundled into the service offering, or acquired via a lease through BandTel’s leasing company.

Generations™ G1 Solution: Retrofitting the Legacy Facility for SIP

Summary: The clients current legacy TDM PBX or key system is retrofitted with a BandTel specified Media Gateway. All standard VoIP SIP trunking services are then made available to the customer, yet no changes to the client’s current infrastructure or procedures are needed.

Generations™ G2 Solution: a Fully Managed VoIP IP-PBX/ACD Solution

Summary: The client’s legacy key system or PBX is completely replaced with BandTel’s Virtual-Hosted SIPTrex™ IP_PBX/ACD solution. This system consists of an IP-PBX/ACD at the customer’s site attached to VoIP phone sets.
