Overview

BandTel provides one of the most compelling Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service offerings in the business today. BandTel understands the customer’s needs and how to interface that customer to the PSTN through VoIP.

Key to those needs are excellent audio call quality, enhanced features, continuation of services and an understanding of how to interface the larger scale enterprise or call center customer's to VoIP. BandTel has designed a voice telephony solution that offers quick connect times, excellent audio quality, total up-time service and a host of special services not available from any TDM or VoIP provider today.

BandTel has gone to great lengths to ensure that its customers have continuation of service by designing its fully redundant “N-Plus Matrix” state-of-the-art VoIP network. BandTel deploys its SIP Soft Switch technology as N active switching nodes. This results in any end-user receiving service from any of the N BandTel switching nodes in the BandTel switching matrix, at any given time.

In the event that one of the nodes in the ”N-Plus Matrix” fails catastrophically, the other surviving nodes in the matrix take over and service continues immediately. This level of uninterrupted service in VoIP space is currently unmatched and achieves a level of up-time that is not generally available even with the largest of today's VoIP transport carriers.

BandTel has made significant investments in research and development to ensure that its VoIP network can interface with our customers’ current voice telephone infrastructure and at the same time have this interface sound as good as or better than the legacy PSTN.

BandTel has done this by addressing the following parameters:

• Low IP latency delays
  
• Reserved bandwidth for voice calls
  
• Proper echo cancellation at the IP/TDM interface
  G.711 for full bandwidth crystal clear audio calls (optional G.729 and G.723 also available)
• As a result, one may be able to tell it’s a BandTel call by hearing the superior voice quality, even when compared to digital PSTN TDM calls.

Enhanced services were never fully recognized in regards to the PSTN and its "Intelligent Network" (IN). But with BandTel, VoIP has finally made the Intelligent Network a reality. BandTel's applications possess the features and services that enable customers to:

• Manage call routing to and from their premise via web interfaces.
• View their traffic calling patterns online
• Download their invoices online
