Bandtel Provides Resellers with Additional Income and Educational
Resources as IT Launches New Var Program

The New Program is Designed to Allow Resellers Worldwide to Leverage BandTel’s Success in the SIP Trunking VoIP Market and Increase Profitability

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – November 27, 2006 — BandTelTM, a leading worldwide provider of SIP Trunking services, today announced its new Value Added Reseller (VAR) program for resellers worldwide. The program will provide BandTel’s channel partners with the education, tools, support and recurring revenue necessary to increase sales and profitability. 

“BandTel has been very successful in establishing itself as a SIP Trunking leader and has become known for providing a fail-safe, cost-effective network to leading gateway, IP PBX, and firewall manufacturers. We want our channel partners to experience the same level of success,” stated Chris Dunk, CEO of BandTel. “Our objective is to continue to work closely with our partners to help them build business opportunities and increase sales and profitability.”

BandTel’s new commission-based VAR program provides flexibility and profitability with two options to choose from with each new customer agreement. The first option allows VARs to receive 15% of each customer’s total usage cost on a monthly basis.  The second option allows resellers to receive 10% of their customer’s total usage cost on a monthly basis, plus a cash bonus equal to the customer’s third month billing.  Resellers can offer their customers one or two year BandTel service agreements.

BandTel will offer VARs a web-based education program, which will be part of the BandTel web site: www.SIPeducation.com. From that, VARs will have access to:

  • Animated PowerPoint presentations for both VARs and their customers
  • Information on SIP: attributes, terminology, response codes, and call examples
  • Knowledge specific information for Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced VARs, which includes definitions, applications, trouble-shooting, white papers and diagrams
  • Downloadable one-sheets on Termination, SIP Trunking Basics and Benefits, BandTel Differentiators and TotalView Online Accounting & Revenue Management
  • Weekly educational webinars and monthly teleconferencing sessions with product and service engineers
  • Regional seminars that complement OEM training
  • The BandTel process for quickly and easily signing up new customers
  • Conference workshops and networking receptions at expos worldwide
  • FAQs

Other program elements include access to BandTel’s TotalView service - a web-based portal designed to give BandTel resellers access to their customers’ call usage and payment history.  It will also provide them with sales reporting information such as commission and revenue management tools.
