Rick Edwards

Co-Founder, President and CEO

Rick Edwards serves as president and CEO of BandTel, and is one of the original founders of the company. In addition, he also operates as a private merchant banker investing in and acting as a financial sponsor for start-ups in small to middle market companies. He provides capital for growth financing, restructuring, recapitalization and leveraged buyouts. He acts as a principal in these activities, structuring and completing necessary transactions.

Mr. Edwards' investment activities began in 1979 with the founding of Amsted. His team of corporate professionals has extensive experience in the financing, restructuring, acquisition and sale of companies in a variety of industries including telecom, technology, real estate development, leasing/management, manufacturing, and medical services. Since 1979, Mr. Edwards has been involved in transactions totaling more that $700 million in capital.
